The PERIDOT Story

The convergence of manufacturing technology and engineering experience – the result: PERIDOT Inc.  Since 1997, PERIDOT has been applying its experience in advanced manufacturing technology to solve customers’ challenges in efficient and creative ways.  Achieved by applying technical experience, an understanding of various manufacturing methods, and creativity; this convergence produces effective results.  From a 1-off prototype to serial production, PERIDOT is committed to providing a COMPLETE solution.

As one of the oldest 3D printing service bureaus in the U.S., PERIDOT has deep roots in additive manufacturing but has since evolved its capabilities.  Today, PERIDOT’s success is driven by a gifted team of MAKERS that is second to none!  The skill, experience, “customer first“ mentality, nimbleness, and “can do” attitude of our team sets PERIDOT apart and yields our competitive advantage. Our team is humbled by the exciting ride over the last quarter century and looks to the future with enthusiasm – giving all the glory to our Creator.

Founding Vision:

1997: 1500sf; FDM & LOM; 2 employees

1999: 3000sf; added urethanes & silicone; 4 employees

2001: 4500sf; added CNC machining; 6 employees

2004: 9000sf; added SLA; 8 employees

2012: acquired machining company; 12 employees

2016: 17,000sf; added wire harnesses; David J. succeeds as sole owner; 14 employees

2017: acquired agricultural product line; 17 employees

2020: added SLS and was launch site for new polypropylene material; 20 employees

2021: added in-house injection molding; 21 employees

2022: added die-cut gasket manufacturing; 22 employees

 

2024: 30,000sf; (10) AM machines; (6) CNC machines; (3) I/M presses; contract manufacturing with sub-assembly & inventory management; 24 employees
